Pine Fest is located on the grounds of the Pine Valley Fairgrounds in Halfway, Oregon.

The area is grassy and sunny with some shade on the edges – more shade as the afternoon goes on. Food and drink vendors are on site, but most bring a lawn chair, hat, water bottle and sunscreen.

From I-84 exit 302 near Baker City:

     - Head east (toward Richland) for 50 miles on Oregon Hwy 86 (aka "Hells Canyon Scenic Byway")

(You will drive up out of the Baker Valley; past the National Oregon Trail Interpretive Center; along the edge of the open pastures of the Keating Valley; down into the winding Powder River Canyon; up and over into Eagle Valley; through the town of Richland; up the Richland Grade; and then down Halfway Grade into Pine Valley, with its pastures and forests.)

     - On the left, just after milepost 53, is the sign and turnoff for Halfway. Take the slight left turn where you see the colorful and colorfully landscaped "Welcome to Halfway" sign.

(As it heads north through Halfway and on up into the Wallowa Mts., this road can be labeled "Hwy 12 Spur," "S. Main St.," "N. Main St.," "Cornucopia Hwy.," and "State Highway 314.")

     - After about 4/5 of a mile, turn right on to Fairgrounds Road. The first entrance on the right is for camping, and the second is for Pine Fest proper. Park along the road.
